De DOA HAcker heeft toch gewonnen en loopt weg met 8.5 Miljoen Dollar aan Ethereum Classics en DarkDoa`s

Ik las een interessant artikel over de Doa hack en dat de hacker eigenlijk gewonnen heeft.

Door de creatie van Ethereum classic op de oude chain en de creatie van DarkDoa heeft de hacker in het beste geval 8.5 miljoen dollars waarde in handen.
Met de grootste ETC exchanges op de uitkijk naar het verduisterde digitale geld, wordt het nog een hele klus het naar fiat geld (fiat geld= euro's, dollars, ponden etc..) of bitcoins in te wisselen.

As reported on the day of the attack, the malicious child DAO aka “The Dark DAO” was located at 0x304a554a310c7e546dfe434669c62820b7d83490
Obviously this address is now empty on the forked chain (since retaking the stolen ETH was the goal of the fork). But now the address is also empty on the unforked chain (aka Ethereum Classic). http://gastracker.io/addr/0x304a554a310c7e546dfe434669c62820b7d83490
There's no decent block explorer for the unforked chain, so it rests on a sufficiently interested developer to inspect the blockchain directly for details of what happened. If anyone has the time, it would be very interesting to find out where the ETC was moved to.

Het geeft te denken dat de gene die de oude Etherchain hebben doorgezet en de DarkDoa leven heeft ingeroepen ook verantwoordelijk zijn voor de hack, of er te minsten wat mee te maken hebben gehad!?

Op Reddit las ik de volgend veelzeggende quote....

You need to be invested in a DAO to be able to perform the hack. If the attack is alone on his DAO, then he can do whatever he wants, including letting ETC burn to the ground.
